A great shade to cover the whole program. A centrifugal canopy from the central courtyard, flies in slope to dilute the edge at its end to a geometric line.
A grid of steel trusses is supported on three pairs of metallic supports, finally hidden inside the body of the canopy. In this way, the structural lines collaborate in the two main directions, to solve the overhangs of 15m in corner. The reduced vertical loads, give way to the important actions of the wind, by the marquee effect, which become the main conditioners of the dimensioning. The square tubular section supports require a base in a pyramidal-trunk shape to be able to withstand the accidental situation of the impact of a heavy delivery vehicle.
One of the corners is chamfered to fit the footprint of the plot, and one of the diagonals stops being cantilevered to incorporate a virtual wall of steel profiles that aid in horizontal stability.
